Going through the process of outlining your organization's most important priorities and documenting them in a well thought out strategic plan is the first step in answering this question.
The Essential Nonprofit Strategic Plan Template is designed to help your strategic planning team understand where your organization is today, and what you need to do to increase your effectiveness and maximize your mission impact moving forward.
With this template, we'll help you articulate who you are, what you do, and why it matters, through a clear mission, vision and values. Then, we'll guide your team through the process of making important decisions about your organization's course over the next 1-3 years. All of this will allow you to set clear goals moving forward, and create a plan of action for bringing your strategic plan to life -- ensuring everyone on your team is held accountable. We'll send you both a PDF file you can print and fill in, and a Google Slides file you can duplicate to create your own digital copy of your marketing plan. The Google Slides format can also be downloaded as a Powerpoint file, though some formatting may not carry over perfectly.
How is the template intended to be used?
There are two ways to use the template:
1. Duplicate the Google Slides file and use it as a starting point for your own strategic plan slides. You can add and delete pages as needed while you work.
2. Download the PDF and write on the worksheets. Then, use your work to inform the development of a strategic plan in the format you prefer.
You'll get access to both options when you fill out the form above.
Prosper Strategies helped us identify the attributes that make our organization truly unique, and assemble a marketing plan that effectively communicates these strengths to the public, other organizations and foundations. The messaging guides, calendars, and other materials [we created] are now central to IEC's communications strategy.
